Family Ministries:

The purpose of Family Ministries is to make disciples of Christ and equip kingdom builders by offering:

• Christian Counseling to children, adults and families.
• Equipping of church members to mentor others in our congregation
• Workshops and Sunday night groups on topics that will enrich the family unit. Subjects such as couple communication, couple enrichment, Christian parenting etc.
• Premarital Counseling combining the spiritual guidance of our pastor and the utilization of the Prepare Inventory administered by a Christian counselor.
• Development of ministries for our church families.
• Divorce recovery counseling and groups.
• Financial counseling by a qualified Christian financial counselor.

Family Ministries is located in the Rebecca Whiteside Miller Building (Youth Building). Our regular hours are Monday through Wednesday from 9-5.

Payment for Christian counseling services, for First ARP members, is predicated on your ability to pay. Payment is not to exceed $30 an hour (these funds are placed in a special fund to support other materials for this ministry). Checks are to be made out to First A. R. Presbyterian Church.
