Sunday School

At First ARP we have Sunday School for all ages between worship services at 9:45a.m..  Our hope is that Sunday School would be a time of discipleship and growth as our classes spend time studying God’s Word and seeking to apply it to our daily lives.

We offer Sunday School classes for children of all ages in our education building, led by laypeople who have a heart for teaching the Scriptures to children. The children are taught the Bible in creative and fun ways that communicate God’s truth on their level. We also offer special youth Sunday School for those in grades 6-12. This Sunday School class is a time of fun, fellowship and growth as our students are led deeper into the riches of God’s Word. For our Adult Sunday School at First ARP we offer a variety of options. Below is a list of our different Adult Sunday School Classes and pertinent information. Adult Sunday School Classes

Cross Trainers (Room 309)
Looking for the right fit for Sunday School? Then look no further than the “Cross Trainers” class located in room 309. We are a diverse class ranging from late 20s to early 50s; both married and unmarried. Come join us in our exciting yet laid back atmosphere!  We look forward to meeting and welcoming you soon! 

Elective Class (Room 203)
This class is made up of adults of all ages who love to grow in our faith together by studying a broad range of topics. If you want a warm and welcoming class that will also challenge you in your faith, come and join us!

Friends Class (Room 307)
The Friends Sunday School Class includes both married couples and singles (30′s-50′s). We love to laugh together, pray together and learn together. A warm welcome is extended to anyone who would like to join us in fellowship!

Genesis Class (Room 305)
The Genesis Class is made up of all age groups thirsting for the knowledge of God. Excellent teachers have been presenting God’s word through Bible Study, scholarly review of Biblical insight, and personal experience. We meet on the second floor of the Educational Building where the best coffee is brewed. Follow your nose to our class!!

New Life Class (Room 304)
We are a class of 40-60+ year olds who love our Sunday School Class! Whether it’s the tasty treats before class, or the meaningful messages brought by our teachers, this class will always fill you up and prepare you for the coming week. Come and check it out!

Mustard Seed Class (Room 306)
The Mustard Seed class includes “young thinking” 40’s+–who fully realize that our faith will not only move mountains but will sustain us during good and difficult times. We pray, build our faith through studying the Word, and we also enjoy great Christian fellowship. We would love for you to visit our class!

Bible Explorers (Room 308)
The Bible Explorers class is a group of adults who are 45 and over who love discussing God’s Word and exploring the depths of the riches of God’s special revelation. Please come and join us on this exciting journey!

Reid McDill Class (Room 202)
We are a group of seasoned ladies ranging in age 50 to 80+. If you would like to join a group of young at heart, fun loving, but serious Bible students, please come and join us!

Grier Bible Class (Room 201)
We are a group of seasoned men who have been growing in the Lord together for many years, led by our teacher Louie Markwood. If you are a man looking for a place to feast on the Word, come and join us!
