First ARP Family Ministry Director

Tom has blessed First ARP with his calling for the past seven years. His ministry focus is three fold. Tom works with the Adult Christian Education ministry planning and leading and teaching courses in Marriage and Family. Secondly he works with Eddie in counseling and equipping others to help and mentor people in crisis. Thirdly, he has established a network of support ministries at First ARP such as support ministry for those going through divorce. Tom had a business background before graduating from Reformed Theological Seminary with Master Studies. Prior to attending seminary Tom was director of marketing and sales for Bank Building Corporation in St. Louis for eleven years. While at RTS he was the Clinic Assistant to the Director of the Counseling Center. Tom previously provided provided therapy to children and their families for Pathways in Gaston, Cleveland, and Lincoln counties. He brings nearly fifteen years experience in counseling and a lifetime of experiences and wisdom to minister to people. He has become a great addition to First ARP.
